Weigh in results: NO CHANGE (more about this below)
Sponsorship update: Thank-you to everyone that has been in touch about sponsoring Lizzie this week. As you can imagine I've been inundated with e-mails and phone calls since the article in the Telegraph yesterday and I just can't reply to all of them but please know that we really appreciate all your support.
For information on how to pledge money for the challenge via the Pounds for Pounds system please take a look at the following post:

So... no change in weight eh? Not good enough I'm afraid, and Lizzie's well aware of that. She put up a lot of resistance to starting on the Clinutren this week, I think because she wanted to see what the extra cheese sandwiches and larger portions for dinner would do. Fair enough... but now we've seen that they just ain't doing enough!! So this week I'm afraid it's Hannah's way or hospital. There is now no choice available to Lizzie. Minimum of two Clinutren per day on top of what she's managing to eat. At the end of the day, they're just drinks, and if she can manage to have 2 large glasses of water with lunch and dinner then she can manage one 200ml drink with each meal.
Tough love this week. We'll keep you posted!

Wishing you every luck with the "tough love" Lizzie!!! I know it will be hard, and believe me I know what Hannah can be like, but you know that it is only because everyone cares about you so much and is really praying for a gain!
I'm sure that once you get over the innitial barrier of the "plonk" it will get a little easier (we know it will never be easy!!). I look forward to hearing how it goes. Much love as always,

don't give up lizzie - it will take time for the food to have an effect on your weight. and it will feel as if you've put on MASSES of weight even though the reality is only slight. it will take time for your body to adjust to the extra food and you will feel so bloated -i know it's the most awful feeling in the world. but it will get easier and less uncomfortable. sending you lots of luck and courage.
I'm another of the masses who read about you in the Telegraph, Lizzie. I have the same sort of problem at the other end of the scale, having managed to put on weight steadily after moving to the US in 1992.
I've begun to shift it, finally, but curiously, the hardest thing hasn't been to put weight on or take it off (albeit steadily and not spectacularly) - it's been to reverse an established trend. Mine was upwards, and it took a looong time to stop gaining and achieve a plateau. once I lost a few ounces it wasn't such a problem, and everything became much easier - not such a constant daily worry !
So keep at the task and don't dare think of giving in to defeatism! You seem to have "bottomed out" (if that's an appropriate thing to say on a blog mainly inhabited by the beautiful part of humanity) so start looking forward to the point in the next few weeks when the food you're putting in will start getting stored for later use (= weight gain) instead of being burned immediately.
And now to see about sponsorship ..... and I've got all that weight since November to catch up with !
